mother's day gift

i'm posting a photo of my favorite earrings, created by my 15 yr-old son for this mother's day/ my birthday. they're so very earthy, rustic and organic! he's been soldering for the past several years, apprenticing in my studio, but this was his first time soldering wire to a larger hunk of metal--what a great job!

    Looks like he had a great teacher! I'm so impressed that he can make these gorgeous earrings at such an early age. I wish I could do this when I was 15 :-)
